Converts unicodes to encoded \uxxxx and writes out any special characters (=: \t\r\n\f#!) with a preceding slash

Parameters:

s - String to encode

escapeSpace - whether to escape space or not

Returns:

encoded String

decodeString

Converts encoded \uxxxx to unicode chars and changes special characters (=: \t\r\n\f#!) to their original forms
